This was a piece I designed and created as an installation for the music festival 'Electric Picnic 2020'. Unfortunately the festival was cancelled due to covid but I 3D printed all the parts for the spectacle arts piece and will assemble it properly if I can use it for an event in the future. The piece is approximately 120cm tall and was made to be suspended between trees using fishing wire in order to give the impression that it is floating in mid-air. The full scale model ended up consisting of 20 individual pieces made to assemble together. Each piece was 3D printed in it's corresponding colour. This project was a good experience in learning to break down and 3D print a large scale model. I used Netfabb and Cura in the printing and designing process.
